Job Title: 5S Technician

Position Overview:

5S Technicians are responsible for putting the workplace into proper order. This includes eliminating unneeded materials, putting everything in its proper place, standardizing workplace upkeep practices, and cleaning.

Major Areas of Responsibility include:

  1. Vacuum and Mop Hallway once a week or when needed
  • Once a month, 1:1 Simple Green.
  1. Clean Bathrooms
  • Mirrors – Weekly
  • Floors – sweep and mop
  • Keep shelf organized and stocked with cleaning supplies and bathroom products.
  • Keep mops heads and rags clean.
  1. Shower Room
  • Keep supplies stocked and request orders when needed.
  • Ensure shower room has enough brushes, hoses, nozzles, spray bottles and other equipment needed for cleaning
  • Floor and Walls – need cleaned weekly
  • Empty trash.
  1. Gowning
  • Wash and Dry scrubs
  • Fold and place scrubs back into shelves
  • Sweep, Mop floors – (every week)
  • Dust on top of lockers and shelves
  • Keep hair nets, disposable masks, gloves, Tyvecs, all stocked – once a week with inventory.
  • Keep Crocs clean and organized for guests
  • Replace Sticky Mats
  • Keep up on artificial scent dispersal
  • Trash Removal. – once a week or as needed
  1. Room Turnover
  • Help clean tabletops, components, hooks, manifolds.
  • Clean Harvest equipment immediately after harvest.
  • Clean – Scissors, scales, bins, computers, computer trays.
  1. Establish and maintain 5S environment. Participate in 5S projects.
  • Sort
  • Set-in Order
  • Shine
  • Standardize
  • Sustain
  1. Inventory (Weekly)
  • Keep all items stocked within all areas of operation. (Including First Aid)
  • Keep updated log of current inventory.
  • Notify management to make purchases.

Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):

  • All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to pass BCI and FBI checks
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Ability to follow directions, Work Instructions and SOPs.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to safely climb and stand on ladders up to 10 feet in height for extended periods of time
  • Satisfactory documentation, inventory, and organization skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Time-management skills
  • Ability to effectively plan and prioritize
  • Ability to focus and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as a part of a team
  • Must be able to work independently once given direction
  • Excellent Data Collection skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8-hour shift (7 AM – 3:30 PM)
