Job Title: Post-Harvest/Packaging Technician

Position Overview:

The Post-Harvest/Packaging Technician is responsible for all aspects of post-harvest plant processing from the time of harvest through packaging and labeling of the final product ready for customer sale as outlined by the management team and SOPs. These responsibilities include bucking, trimming, quality control, packaging, labeling, assembling completed product materials into containers and packages, and cleaning all parts and components used in post-harvest procedures. This position works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity and acts with professional regard to the management and use of all production facilities and post-harvest equipment. Applicants must be located within 15 miles of Youngstown OH.

Major Areas of Responsibility include:

1. Assists in the post-harvest plant processing of medical cannabis
2. Fan leaf removal, bucking, trimming, quality control, packaging, labeling, recording, inspection of product in addition to cleaning and sanitation
3. Maintains a clean and organized work environment
4. Trimming and/or operating a quality control conveyor belt to remove fan leaves and/or sugar leaves from medical marijuana
5. Weighs, packages, labels, records/tracks medical cannabis for distribution
6. Receives instructions and assists on tasks as delegated by management team
7. Works in a quick and efficient manner
8. Maintains a culture of professionalism and service
9. Ensures daily compliance with policies including but not limited to; state compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code and work schedules
10. Complies with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure

Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):

• All applicants must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to pass BCI and FBI checks
• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred
• General knowledge of the Cannabis Industry
• All positions deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment
• Speed and precision with equipment and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and maintain work consistency daily
• High attention to detail
• Standing/sitting for long periods of time

Additional Abilities Required: The job requires physical activity, including prolonged sitting, standing, repetitive bending, climbing, and lifting or moving up to 10 pounds (or more with a coworker). Good visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive motions with accuracy is required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
